Futuro Informal

Plans and intentions — "going to." The most common future form in spoken BR Portuguese.

We're going to work in parallel and align weekly. The young people on the team are going to work with a freedom I didn't have — and that's a good thing.

Futuro Formal

Formal future — "shall/will." More common in writing than speech.
